Four Things To Remember When Training New Recruits

What To Do When Training New Recruits Why Duplication Is The Key

An Article By Dennis O’Brien
Key to training new recruitsTraining new recruits is an essential part of any business.  You may be here looking for ways to improve your focus on training new recruits. Perhaps just looking for information. If I can assist you in determining your next step then my job of training is made even easier by reading your comments. Any team leader knows that to help move somebody towards a prosperous future it’s their task to train them correctly. Their success guarantees yours if they can help you to start funneling others into the marketing company you have chosen ! With a good understanding of the “why” you are going to discover how to focus your time and energy on training new recruits who achieve results no matter which successful company you choose to promote.

When Training New Recruits Show How Duplication Works

Forget past experiential learning – model your actions based on those who have already achieved success, and do specifically what they did. This is called a duplication process and “if it ain’t broke, why fix it”. When training new recruits it is essential that you transmit this concept.

Good people in successful businesses have already done it the hard way and are willing to show you how to achieve the results you desire. They have already paved the way for you! If they won’t share then you’re in the wrong company. A successful company WANTS to share. They know when training new recruits for your business duplication is the key to everyone’s success, including their own continued success.

Here is exactly what you have to do:

  1. Commit to your business for at least one year! Just like any other business, it takes time to master the proper skills. The great news is you will learn volumes. Too many people try for a month or two and then quit. So, have the proper mindset at the start and if you commit for at least one year, you should be at a place where you will not want to stop.
  2. Use your own products everyday, become your own ideal client.
  3. Get prospects to watch or attend a Business Opportunities Presentation and follow up with them by involving your upline.
  4. Show those that do watch or attend that duplicating these actions is exactly why duplication is the key.
If you can learn these very basic steps your business will get off to a tremendous start. REMEMBER: Simple works.

While Training New Recruits Demonsrate Duplication In The Payment System Also

You are in your business to get paid. And you get paid when either one of two things happens:

  1. Someone becomes a customer and they purchase a product.
  2. Someone becomes an associate and joins your business.

When it comes to training new recruits, always concentrate their initial efforts, on bringing in business that produces results and income. The old idea of contacting your friends and relatives is great training grounds. This is called a warm market. But they also need to move beyond so they can to duplicate the training they are getting in the wider community.

The compensation plan is of course very important. And most companies are the same. They usually pay 10-35% of total gross value of a product or service. It’s the additional forms of revenue beyond this initial commission that makes a company different which also needs to be explained when training new recruits.

You only have to look at the compensation plan in the video on our Home Page to get a feel for the differences there are between companies. Coupled with the “same day instant pay” system at Talk Fusion it’s easy to see why I recommend the company.

The Universal Principle behind building a profitable Relationship Marketing Business is not whether it works for YOU but whether or not it can be duplicated by EVERYONE. Successful team leaders concentrate on simple, applicable action that they can Teach to anyone. Their number one priority is making sure their organisation does everything they do UP and DOWN the line, and does it the same way every time. And that’s why when training new recruits Duplication Is The Key.

Thanks for this wonderful and helpful tips! I agree with you that if we are selling our own product, we should be the one to first use it so that we can give an honest marketing to clients.

Hi Sarah Firstly let me say thanks for visiting and taking time to comment. Yes we should use our products every day and make honest reviews of them. Record any objections from people and develop ways to cover those objections in our copy-writing.

      Thanks

    Hi Dennis,

Duplicating is a key to network marketing success.

People who can do, what you do, and succeed with it, make your life easier…and of course, improve their lives too 😉 Make your system simple. Inspire people to work it daily. Simple really does work best in this game, as simple and persistent, means power.

    Thanks for sharing Dennis!

Hey Ryan …always glad to see you leaving comments. Simplicity seems to be agreed among those who have tasted the rewards it brings. It takes time to work it but that's why people say you have to be persistent which is exactly as you point out.

Thanks for adding value to the article Ryan, your support is always welcome.

    Hi, Dennis,

Good tips about orientating new recruits. I totally agree with you that it is not about if it works for US, it is about THE NEW MEMBER. As Ryan says, success is about duplication! If you can recuit like cracy and no-one or very few people are duplicating what we do, it is considered failure in network marketing.

This is why SYSTEMS must be in place so that new members can do what we do within a week of signing up 🙂

The good news is some MLM companies have fantastic training videos/audios or articles that new members can learn from the internet links!

Absolutely duplication is the key I so agree. There is a process to follow thats what you hook your new member up to. I see a lot of new members joining but they refuse to attend webinar…what the heck??? How do they expect to learn really astounds me. This is part of the duplication system…keeping it simple…if they dont attend webinar then how do they think their team will do? They will do what you do…Follow the duplication process is definately key.

    Thx for shareing Brian…

I am a believer in the duplication process. Following what other successful people have done while adding your own twist is very effective. You should train your recruits to you help you earn more revenue.

    • Dennis OBrien March 25, 2012 at 11:22 pm

      Hello HHK

While I agree duplication in this context that following an already proven successful method brings results i have to disagree on one point. Earning personal income is not the goal for training new associates in a duplication process, it is the survival of the whole company and the foundation of teamwork. Those who concentrate on personal gain are usually the downfall of many a networking business.

Thanks for adding to the conversation.

Training new recruits the right way can really help your business a lot. They indeed have to expand beyond their friends and family to ensure the success of your products. You can achieve success if you duplicate success.

Thanks for adding value with your comment John. It’s great to hear this echoing throughout leadership circles and I wish you success in your training.

    Hey Dennis,

That's a great write-up. It's very important to demonstrate to new members how duplication will work for them, a true leader would give them hope and show the path to tread for improved results. Having a team that can duplicate what we do makes things so simple to succeed.

And of course, its wonderful to use the products we promote, so that we can give honest reviews. Thanks for sharing these insights with us.

    • Dennis OBrien April 4, 2012 at 12:18 am

Hi Sarah and thanks for adding some extra value here. It's great to see people agreeing of course but the important thing is it reinforces to me what I've learned and makes it more viable. Sharing is great medium for self directed learning meaning that once see a pathway we can follow it and choose the direction.

Thanks for visiting. This is a "Do Follow" blog so backlinks to "You Never Know" are automatically generated 🙂 Have a great Easter.
